Engraving with etching of Henri IV, King of France and Navarre. Whole length figure, in death, wrapped in a shroud and shown within an exhumed coffin. The coffin of the King is shown standing up, within a vaulted tomb. With coat of arms and French inscription below. Cut down.
This print depicts the exhumed body of Heni IV, King of France, who was supposedly exhumed in 1793 and posthumously beheaded during the French Revolution. -
