Pair of vases and covers 1780 - 1820

A pair of hard-paste porcelain, circular tapering baluster vases and covers. Decorated with a turquoise ground and with polychrome scenes on a white ground, depicting courtship, landscapes and posies. The reserves are edged with raised gold and white scrolling decoration, this is also echoed on the lid. The covers are of domed form with round gilt finials.
