An ewer with a coiled, shell-like lower body, spreading upwards in an oval shape from a low, spreading base to an open mouth, with a scrolled handle opposite the pouring lip joining the rim to the lower body. The upper part of the ewer painted on the white ground with floral scrollwork and a variety of exotic blooms, with bands with pale violet, yellow and purple grounds on the lower bulb, rose-pink blooms and black and gilt scrolls on a green ground below, and blue scrollwork on the foot, with a rose-pink petal border; inside the mouth, further floral sprays. The rim is gilt. It has a matching basin RCIN 21353.
