Pair of oval dishes with cover and stands (part of a dinner service) late eighteenth century

A pair of oval hard-paste porcelain dishes with covers and stands (one cover missing). The cover is surmounted by a moulded flower final and the dish has overlapping crabstock handles. The white body is decorated with a striated pink border edged with a lobed gilt rim and four relief moulded gilt cartouches surrounding painted polychrome floral sprigs and bouquets. There are further sprays and bouquets painted in the centre along with scattered polychrome blooms and butterflies.
