Photograph of Balmoral Estate staff with a stag, shot by the Prince Consort, mounted on the back of a horse. The group includes: W. Stewart (fl. 1852); John Brown (1827-83); P. Farquharson (d. 1874?); William Leys (fl. 1852); John Grant (1810-79) and Macdonald (d. 1860?). The man standing second from the right, gesticulates with his right hand to a man standing on the right of the photograph.
