A cheval fire screen inlaid with stringing, with a serpentine top rail, and an embroidered panel, with two stretchers, one upholstered in velvet, on splayed cross-bar feet. The screen is fitted with a hinged work surface, with a brass strut support, inlaid in mother-of-pearl with a V monogram.
