This oil painting on glass seems to date from the early years of the 18th century, though it is not recorded in the collection until much later. The floweers are displayed in a glass bowl with a pedestal foot, standing on a table or ledge. The blooms include white and pink roses, and there is a Red Admiral butterfly top right.
