    Bukelpokal or standing cup and cover

    This cup is a superb example of the type of vessel for display produced in southern Germany during the seventeenth century. It appears to have been presented by Charles II to a member of The Queen’s College, Oxford, in gratitude for support given to Charles I during the Civil War.
