Thirteen young Indian princes were chosen to act as pages for the King-Emperor, QueenEmpress,Viceroy and Vicereine during the 1911 coronation ceremonies in Delhi. They each wore a brooch of George V’s initials in diamonds (gifts from the King-Emperor) fastened to their turbans.
