The Statue to be disposed of.

A hand-coloured print of the outside of Mrs Clarke's house in Gloucester Place. The Duke of York stands as a statue, on a pedestal with his back to the viewer. A poster on the wall announces the sale of the statue. Another poster alongside, advertises Tegg's stock of caricatures, which are for sale. A man adheres the bill to the outside of the house with a brush. Inscribed in the plate: Pubd. March 12 1809 by Thos Tegg No 111 Cheapside
