The drapery of St Anne's legs
c.1517-18RCIN 912527
Two studies of drapery for the lower half of a seated figure, the one to the left on a rather larger scale. The left leg is facing the spectator, and the right leg is turned in profile to the left. This is probably a study for the drapery of St Anne in the Madonna and Child with St Anne and a lamb, now in the Louvre.
