Adams used glass plates manufactured by Elliott & Sons Ltd. The Royal Collection’s substantial collection of Adams’s glass plates arrived in boxes such as this. This plate is one of those used in the 1928 sitting; it shows the Duchess of York with Princess Elizabeth.
