The Bowes Lyon family also visited The Children’s Studio. The two children, Nancy and Timothy Bowes Lyon were twins. Their father Patrick, Lord Glamis, was the eldest brother of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. He succeeded as 15th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne in 1944. Timothy himself succeeded as 16th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne on his father's death in 1949.
