    Marriage fan

    Paper leaf; carved mother of pearl guards (matching) and sticks (2 + 20) | 26.8 cm (guardstick) | RCIN 25217

    This fan was a wedding present to Princess Elizabeth in 1947 from Duvelleroy, the celebrated firm of fan makers. It shows a marriage scene. The guests on the left are wearing red wedding favours.
