IMPERIAL GLASS MANUFACTORY

Glass vase

1916

RCIN 54958

The Russian Imperial glass manufactory created pieces influenced by the French master of Art Nouveau-style glass Emile Gallé (1848–1904), from the early 1890s. Vases with different flowers were created by the factory’s artist Krasovsky and were commissioned to complement the private apartments of Empress Alexandra Feodorovna, whose preference was for the Art Nouveau style.
