Like no. 130 (above), this drawing comes from the collection of Cassiano dal Pozzo. In common with many other antiquarians, Cassiano was more interested in the details of daily life than in the great events of antiquity, and he owned no fewer than thirty-two drawings of the triclinium or Roman dining room.
