The Three Graces

c.1517-18

RCIN 912754

Around 1518 Raphael’s assistants frescoed the vault of the garden loggia of Agostino Chigi’s villa in Rome, now known as the Villa Farnesina. Though Raphael executed none of the frescoes himself, drawings such as this show that he was closely involved in their design.
