c.1536-7RCIN 912267
Jane Seymour (1508/9 – 37) was Henry VIII’s third wife, and the mother of his son Prince Edward (later Edward VI). This drawing by Holbein was used as the model for a number of paintings of the Queen, among them a portrait in Vienna, and the Whitehall Mural, a copy of which can be seen alongside.
