Prince Albert was born at the Rosenau, a country residence of the Dukes of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. This view exaggerates the size of the small building. Morison worked extensively for Victoria and Albert in England and Germany, painting views of Buckingham Palace and in Coburg and Gotha.
