A hand-painted paper fan with roses and Korean calligraphy. With handle of bamboo wood and ivory/bone. Sits in wooden box with lid and red silk bag with floral embroidery and multi-coloured tassels.
The fan is inscribed with a poem composed by An-jin Ryu which reads:
Your Majesty from a far-away land of roses and whose grace exceeds those of the roses
