      The cast of Robert the Bruce’s skull

      This is a cast of the skull of Robert the Bruce, who was King of Scots 700 years ago. In this short film, Emma Thompson, Assistant Curator at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, explains how, in 1819, his tomb was investigated and a plaster cast was made of the king’s skull.
