In the company of an expert guide you will tour the magnificent State Apartments after the Castle has closed its doors to visitors for the day.
You will discover the history of the Castle, including how William the Conqueror’s wooden Castle was rebuilt by Edward III as a stone fortress with magnificent apartments, how Charles II set out to rival the Versailles of his cousin Louis XIV, while George IV filled the rooms with outstanding works of art and gave the Castle its famous skyline.
You will also see the Castle decorated for Christmas, including the magnificent 6 metre (20-foot) high tree in St George's Hall.
The experience lasts around 2.5 hours and includes a glass of English Sparkling Wine and a copy of the official guidebook.
Tickets must be pre-booked. There is limited availability, with a maximum number of 30 places on each tour.
Your ticket is eligible to be converted into a 1-Year Pass for standard admission to Windsor Castle.
Please note that St George's Chapel and Queen Mary's Dolls' House are not included in these tours.
