Join Martin Clayton, Head of Prints and Drawings at the Royal Collection Trust and exhibition curator, for this lunchtime lecture as he discusses the vital role of patrons and commissioners in creation of Italian Renaissance Art.

While not always seen within the drawing itself, these powerful figures were undoubtedly instrumental in shaping the themes and techniques which have become so quintessential of this period.

Martin will share the stories of the figures behind some of the drawings on display in the exhibition, Drawing the Italian Renaissance at the King's Gallery, Buckingham Palace.
