For an experience groups won't forget, take a private tour of the State Apartments at Windsor Castle with an expert guide. Your group's behind-the-ropes tour will take you on a journey through 1,000 years of royal history, when the Castle is closed to the public for the day. You will discover how William the Conqueror’s wooden castle was rebuilt by Edward III as a stone fortress with magnificent apartments, how Charles II set out to rival the Versailles of his cousin Louis XIV, while George IV filled the rooms with outstanding works of art and gave the Castle its famous skyline. You will also hear how the State Apartments are used today by His Majesty The King and members of the Royal Family for State and ceremonial occasions.

Please note that Queen Mary's Dolls' House and St George's Chapel are not included in this tour.

Price includes a guided tour in English, a glass of English sparkling wine and a copy of the official guidebook.

Private Guided Tours are for pre-booked groups only.
