Relax and have fun in the Family Pavilion
Discover the Family Pavilion, situated on the West Terrace and overlooking the Buckingham Palace Garden, to relax and explore this year's exhibition with the entire family.
The Family Pavilion is full of exciting activities and games for all ages, based on the theme of the special exhibition, A Royal Welcome.
Under-fives can enjoy piecing together a giant magnetic wall puzzle to create a scene from a garden party at the Palace. Inspired by the spectacular dining display in the Palace Ballroom, young visitors can have a go at setting a banqueting table for a royal feast or designing their very own invitation to a State Banquet. Families can also dress-up and take to the stage to act out an Investiture.
Take the free Family Multimedia tour
Explore the Palace with our new multimedia tour targeted at families with children under 12.
The multimedia guide takes visitors on a tour of the State Rooms and includes a welcome from HRH The Prince of Wales as well as interviews with Royal Collection Trust curators and Royal Household staff.

Pick up a Garden Trail
Explore the garden at Buckingham Palace - an oasis of calm green space in the busy city. Look out for birds, fish and insects and their different habitats. Can you find the helipad and the lake that Queen Victoria’s husband, Prince Albert, fell in?
Pick up the Garden Trail in the Family Pavilion or download it here.
