Many of Leonardo’s anatomical demonstrations are strikingly similar to modern medical images. Both attempt to depict complex, layered anatomical structures (usually) in two dimensions.

This exhibition uses 21st-century technology to explore the modern relevance of Leonardo’s anatomical research.

Presented here are three of Leonardo's drawings alongside images prepared using the latest medical technology. The juxtaposition shows how far-sighted Leonardo’s work was, and how relevant he remains for anatomists today.
