In Conversation: Shadows of War with Sir Don McCullin
Arguably one of the UK's greatest photographers, Sir Don McCullin has documented many of the major conflicts in the 20th and 21st centuries, as well as capturing on film the lives of the poor and underprivileged in beautifully composed and compassionate portraits.
Joining Sophie Gordon, Head of Photographs, in conversation at this event at The Queen's Gallery, Buckingham Palace, Sir Don McCullin discusses his work and experiences in the field, drawing parallels with the work of Roger Fenton, 'the first war photographer'.
