Queen Mary's Fabergé fan

Made in the workshop of Fabergé’s second Head Workmaster, Henrik Wigström, this fan was purchased from the London branch of the firm on 24 December 1912. The silk leaf is painted with a central cartouche depicting a man and a woman in a pastoral landscape, the whole in a rococo revival style.

Purchased by Queen Alexandra and given to Queen Mary for Christmas, 1912
