This bust of Edward VI is from the line of kings displayed in Queen Caroline’s library at St James’s Palace. Although the full line was never achieved, the completed works included Henry VII, his consort, Elizabeth of York, and Elizabeth I, reflecting Caroline’s particular fascination with the Tudor dynasty and the sixteenth century.
