These candelabra reflect designs published in C.H. Tatham’s highly influential Etchings … of Ancient Ornamental Architecture of 1799. From a set of four, originally with nine lights each, they were placed on each side of the throne in the Throne Room at Carlton House until they were removed to Windsor in 1827.
