Set of four pedestals
c.1795RCIN 2592
This pedestal forms part of a set of eight, originally supplied for the Great Drawing Room at Carlton House, and were almost certainly those intended to support the magnificent set of six-light candelabra. Whilst supplied by the French dealer-decorator Dominique Daguerre, they were probably made by an English carver (or a French one based in London).
Supplied to George IV, c.1794
