This enamelled gold salver was particularly admired for its intricate design. At the time of its production it was the largest enamelled object to be produced and took more than four years to make. The plate depicts two of Jaipur's palaces: The Chandra Mahal and the Jal Mahal also known as the Moon Palace and the Water Palace.
