Mapping Wilson's views

Sir Walter Scott discovered Scotland with his pen, and George Washington Wilson resdiscovered it with his camera.

The growing appeal of Scotland as a tourist destination led to a demand for photograph souvenirs. George Washington Wilson traveled widely to capture landscape photography that that could be used in this way. As business grew, Wilson also photographed historical buildings and locations across the United Kingdom. Explore just how far he traveled with this map.
