Seven Poems and Two Translations

1902

RCIN 1005108

This edition of poems and translations was published by the Doves private press. As is typical of Doves books, this one has a limp vellum binding and clear type, intended to be reminiscent of medieval books. The illustrations are by the architect, designer and illustrator Allan F. Vigers. Tennyson wrote Ulysses shortly after the death of his friend Arthur Henry Hallam. Presented to Queen Alexandra by Allan F. Vigers, 1904
