Over the last 500 years St James's Palace has been the setting for some of the most important events in royal history. Elizabeth I set out from St James's Palace to address her troops assembled against the Spanish Armada, Queen Victoria married Prince Albert in the Chapel and King Charles III was officially proclaimed King at the Palace.

The Palace is open to visitors on selected dates for Exclusive Guided Tours. Tickets for 2026 are not on sale.
